Private and semi-private riding lessons are offered in both hunt seat and western riding styles. Lessons are offered Monday thru Saturday in a spacious indoor riding arena. Trail rides are also offered thru the scenic trails of the Jefferson County Forest.
Bannon Woods Farm Equestrian Team
The serious riding student can be invited to join our equestrian team. We travel to shows and compete on levels ranging from local schooling shows to state wide events. In order to compete students can either show their horse or one of our school horses.

Bannon Woods is a Kentuckianna Girl scout approved site that offers summer riding camps. The camps are centered around providing a safe and educational horse experience for the girls while helping them meet the requirements for both the Horse Fan and Horseback Rider badges. Camps for 2003 are offered as follows:
Camps are half-day camps that run for one week Monday thru Friday.
There is a morning session that runs from 9-12:30 and an afternoon session that runs from 1:30- 5:00p.m.
LEVEL I
1. June 09- June 13 (a.m. and p.m. sessions)
2. June 16- June 20 (a.m. session only)
3. June 23- June 27 (a.m. session only)
4. June 30- July 4 (a.m. only)
5. July 14- July 18 (a.m. only)
6. July 21- July 25 (a.m. and p.m. sessions)
7. July 28 - August 1 (a.m. and p.m. sessions)
LEVEL II
Camp runs Tuesday thru Friday afternoon from 1:30 - 5:00p.m. with a sleepover in the barn Friday night. Pickup is Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
1. June 17- June 21
2. June 24- June 28
3. July 15- July 19
LEVEL IIB
Camp runs Tuesday thru Friday afternoon from 1:30 - 5:00p.m. with a sleepover in the barn Friday night. Fun Show held on Saturday from 9:30 - 11:00 for parents to watch.

Full and Partial care are offered at Bannon Woods. We use top quality feed and hay and use top quality cedar shavings. We are a breeding facility so mares are welcome. Boarders have access to miles of wooded trails and our spacious, well-lit indoor riding arena.
